Close together text

This thing is very easy but it took be long to figure it out.Open up Photoshop and make a new canvas any size I'll choose 468x60 web banner as a example.Go on text there should be this picture on the top where you choose your font and everything but it's placed on the right side this is it.
Click on that and there should be a pop up with lists look for this one.Then click on it's arrow and select -100 that makes it close together after selecting -100 get the text tool and type something out.
